KWC Australian Trials 2009

The countdown is on! The national search to find Australia's next representative at the Karaoke World Championships begins in February, 2009. The new Australian Champion will find themselves singing their way to Lahti, Finland in September to compete for thousands of dollars in cash and prizes.
As featured in this month's Readers Digest Australia (January), the Karaoke World Championships is the world's largest and most prestigious international karaoke competition.
The Australian prize package alone includes thousands of dollars in cash, a trip to Finland including return airfares and 5 nights accommodation, interstate weekend flight and accommodation packages, Club Crocodile Airlie Beach holidays, Capital Karaoke systems & gear, trophies and the title of Karaoke World Champion Australia 2009.
Karaoke World Champion 2008, Australia's own Michael Bates, walked away with thousands of dollars in cash, a recording deal and media exposure when he took out the International Finals in Finland in October, 2008.
Heats will be held nationally in participating venues from February, 2009. The Australian National Final will be held at the Middle Showroom, Ferntree Gully (Vic) on Sat. 1st August, 2009.
Participating venues will be listed on the official KWC Australian website and where2sing.com over the upcoming months.
